“Light-light" combines a practical device (bug zapper) with symbolic forms of commemoration, creating a self-sustaining ritualized landscape. The work juxtaposes individual life's destruction with commemoration, exposing inherent contradictions in the progression of civilization, and reflecting on the coexistence of violence and lofty symbols within social mechanisms. It invites viewers to examine how culture and institutions rationalize negative behavior, questioning whether this rationalization conceals deeper absurdities and disorder.
“烁烬”通过将灭虫灯这一实用装置与象征性纪念形式相结合，构建了一个自循环的仪式化景观。作品通过个体生命的消逝与纪念的并置，揭示文明进程中的某些内在矛盾，反思社会机制中暴力与崇高象征的共存逻辑。它邀请观者审视文化与制度如何将消极行为合理化，并质疑这种合理化背后是否隐藏着更深层的荒谬与失序。
