Interactive Installation
“THE END” is a multimedia interactive installation that discusses the relationship between life and time through contemplating death. By incorporating real-time global death data, the work takes the form of a "soul stele," inviting audiences to consider their position and significance within the time dimension. The installation is infused with the philosophical metaphor of "seven" in funeral traditions, using an implicit interaction mechanism to construct a dual dimension of time. It reveals the limitations and necessities of individual and collective actions in interpreting temporal patterns. In this ritual of time, life and death, stillness and continuity, unfold in constant interplay.
“THE END” 是一件多媒体交互装置，通过对死亡的注视，探讨生命与时间之间的关系。作品接入全球实时死亡数据，以“灵碑”的形式呈现，邀请观众凝视生命的终结，并在这一过程中心识自身在时间维度中的位置与意义。同时，作品融入丧葬文化中关于“七”的哲学隐喻，以非显式互动机制构建时间的双重维度，揭示个体与集体行为在解读时间规律时的局限与必要性。在这一关于时间的仪式中，生命与死亡、静止与延续都在不断进行。
