Inspired by the similar colour palette of gold and green landscape paintings and thermal imaging images, I explored the relationship between traditional Chinese landscape paintings and modern thermal imaging. Through the lens of thermal imaging, I have photographed a variety of Hong Kong's local landscapes, from urban architecture to natural landscapes, and reassembled these landscapes in the compositional form of traditional landscape paintings to form new modern "thermal landscape paintings". This fusion not only redefines the aesthetics of the city, but also pays homage to an ancient art form and offers new perspectives on our evolving relationship with the environment.
